Your earbuds live in the back.

Slide the cover down, drop your earbuds in, slide it shut. They charge from the P-1’s battery, so one cable does both.

Rounded edges, a 245 g aluminium body and sticks where your thumbs already are. It feels like a well made tool, because it is one.

Connell Engineering

We are a small team of engineers and game makers who grew up with pocket consoles and missed them. Phones can play games. We wanted something that only plays games, and does it well.

The P-1 is built to be kept. Aluminium instead of plastic, a battery you can change with a screwdriver, and parts and repair guides sold for at least seven years.

We design everything in-house and build in small batches, so we only make what has been ordered.

Which earbuds fit the dock?

Most small stem and bud earbuds. The box has two sets of cradle inserts, and we publish a fit list that we keep up to date.

Can I play older games?

The P-1 runs games made for it. It does not ship with other consoles’ games, and we won’t help anyone break the law.

How long will it last?

The battery is good for about 800 full charges, then you can swap it in five minutes. We sell batteries, buttons, sticks and screens for at least seven years.

Does it need an account?

No. You only need one to buy from the Shelf or upload your own game.
